Lesson 13 - Singular and Plural Nouns

Activity 1
Teacher explains what are singular and common regular nouns with suffix -s or -es. You can give some example of nouns taken from around the school such as tables, chairs, doors, etc.

Suffix -s
Car – Cars
Teacher – Teachers
Garden – Gardens
Bottle – Bottles
Pencil – Pencils

Suffix -es (o, x, ch, sh, s)
Potato – Potatoes
Box – Boxes
Watch – Watches
Dish – Dishes
Glass – Glasses

Suffix -ies (consonan+y and vowel+y)
Baby – Babies
Lady – Ladies
Cherry – Cherries
Toy – Toys
Boy – Boys

Suffix -ves (f or fe)
Life – Lives
Wife – Wives
Leaf – Leaves
Wolf – Wolves
Thief – Thieves

Activity 2
Teacher eplains to the students about some irregular plural nouns

Activity 3
Teacher explains the uncountable nouns that don't have singular noun forms.
Activity 4
Teacher asks the students to write the singular form of nouns
Activity 5 
Teacher asks the students to find the meaning of the phrases in Bahasa Indonesia.
